I've done some thinking and realized it is time for me to start dressing better. Sometimes I dress nice; I fix my hair and do my makeup occasionally, but you will almost always find me in a t-shirt, jeans, and my trusty Converse. I graduate in (hopefully) two years, and then I will be out in the professional world. No pit stop to graduate school or mommy-hood. I will be 22 and in an office. Do twenty-two year old professional women wear jeans to the office? No. No they don't.

Dresses have always made me uncomfortable. What if it accidentally lifts up? What if the temperature is cold? Will people see my leg stubble? (Yes, I worry about that. You know you do, too.) I have always made excuses for not dressing up, but excuses, no more! I am daring myself to be fashionable at least once a week. Only once a week, you ask? Yes. Only once. If I tried to force myself to dress up three times a week or more, I would give up very quickly, and that is not the point of this challenge.
I got the idea from these two ladies at The Dress Dare. They vowed to wear a dress every day for a year. I could never do something like that, but what is stopping me from challenging myself to something similar? I vow to wear a fashionable outfit at least once a week. I know many bloggers out there are either one of two things (or both): 1. Mommy bloggers 2. Fashion Bloggers. I am neither. No child has come from me, and I know next to nothing about fashion. I know high heels are fashionable, unfortunately. If there are any bloggers out there like me, then I encourage you to take my Fashion Dare! If you are a fashion blogger, I encourage you to help me out! I have a feeling my Pinterest sessions are about to get longer.

Technically I'm a fashion/beauty blogger, but you wouldn't know it from my blog because you don't see any pictures of me! I think I'll be doing this dare to remind me to *take pictures*. :)
